A New Blog!

Hi everyone!  Well, we are back on the blogging bandwagon with a new page and a new adventure, parenthood.  Ok, so maybe not quite parenthood yet, but we are navigating the tricky waters of pregnancy!  I decided to start a new blog mainly because I figured that The Drunken Years wasn't really intended for the ramblings of a pregnant lady.  Also, it's a good way for all of our family and friends that are out of town (that's pretty much everyone!) to get to keep up with us and see what's going on down here.  

For anyone not up to speed, here's your Readers' Digest version of what's been happening:  

We found out this past November that we are expecting our first child (SURPRISE!!!!!), and got married January 31 (something which had been on the agenda for a while, but we decided to speed things up a bit).  I'm STILL finishing up school, I will finally be done this May.  Jody's still working for Biotronik down here in San Antonio, and graciously putting up with my hormones and the cats on a daily basis.  Yes, we still have the cats, and I'm not sure how they're going to adjust when we bring home our little Robinson in July.
