4 Months

Last Friday I took Taylor in for her four month check up. She weighs 15 lbs. 9 oz, and is 25 inches long! She is in the 75% for height and 90% for weight. Needless to say, she is no longer our little runt! Dr. Hyslop was very impressed at how strong she has gotten, and even said that we don't really need to do tummy time (which is great because she hates it!) anymore unless she just wants to. Some of you may have noticed in pictures that Taylor's right eye is a little droopy, sometimes even looking as if it's smaller than the left eye. Well, Dr. Hyslop noticed too and we've been referred to a pediatric ophthalmologist to just have it checked out and be sure it's ok. While we were there, Taylor received her four month immunizations. Needless to say that did NOT go over well and pretty much ruined the remainder of her day. Oh well, fortunately she was back to her usually bubbly self by Saturday.

Taylor is also becoming more and more of a big girl (and I don't just say that because her legs now get stuck in the Bumbo chair). She started rice cereal this weekend and actually does very well with it. She is giggling much more frequently as well, and is such a social little gal. Jody and I barely get anything done around the house when she's at homre because she's so cute and fun to play with! Taylor has also started "helping" when she eats by holding her own bottle some of the time.

All smiles before headed to the doctor. Poor kid never saw it coming.......

So big!

Getting ready for bed.
