Round II, First Sonogram

Yesterday we had our first sonogram to make sure that everything is on track with this pregnancy. The only reason for concern was that it seems like I've gotten bigger faster. I swear, I got a positive pregnancy test on a Friday, and by Tuesday I couldn't button my pants. Plus, I've already felt a few little movements, and usually that doesn't happen until later either. Even though I know I'm pregnant, which means I'm harboring another human whether I like it or not, it still hasn't really clicked. Even when I saw that little alien pop up on the monitor it was like watching it in a movie or something. I know it's going to finally all set in once Jr. really gets to rocking and rolling and kicking the crap out of my ribs, but for now it just seems so surreal.

But anyhoo, on to the facts. Baby is right on track with our original due date of July 19 (almost exactly 6 months to go, woohoo!), there's only one, and baby is currently weighing in at a whopping 3 oz. No gender info yet, it's still too early for that, but we should hopefully get that news when we go back for the full anatomy scan in March. Until then, here's a sneak peek of Baby Dos!

Here's the full body, you can see the head and torso, complete with knees and elbows!

Ok, the pecan looking thing to the left is the head, and the other circle to the right is the abdomen.
