The last few days have been tired ones in the Robinson house. Taylor has suddenly decided that 5:30 a.m. is a perfectly acceptable wake up time for her, and therefore Jody and me too. The kicker is that she usually goes to bed around 9:30 and sleeps until 7:30. Once in a while she does get up in the night to come check on us (At least that's the only sense I can make of her late night visits to our room. She gets up in the bed, lays there for about 15 minutes, then is ready to go back to her own bed.), but typically she's hung in there as being an awesome sleeper. But the last few days, even before the early mornings started, she has been fighting me to go to bed between 8:00-8:30.
At first this was awesome, what pregnant woman doesn't love going to bed a little early? But after the early wake-ups started, I decided it wasn't worth it in the long run. So, last night Jody and I were able to kind of tag team it and we managed to get Taylor to stay up until 9:15. I thought we were golden, and in a sense we were. She totally slept til 8:00 (Hallelujah!), but when I went to check on her last night before I went to bed this is what I found:

Sleep Wars
At first I really thought the Boogey Man had finally come out into the public and was trying to drag my child back under the bed to his lair (I figured he gave up once he realized how damn heavy she is.). But I guess she was making a final attempt to wreak havoc in her room one final time before bed and just tuckered out before she really made it.
As for the rest of the sleep battles, even though we had the issue with Taylor licked last night, a new battle arose with Jody. We stayed up until around 12:00 watching a movie, and after we went to bed he kept complaining of indigestion. Considering we had greasy eggrolls and he had a couple of beers with dinner, I wasn't terribly shocked. Heartburn is a frequent visitor in our household. But then at 4:00 a.m. (What is it with my family and these early-ass hours?), I awoke to my husband darting out of bed and across the house to the bathroom. Yep, you guessed it - stomach bug. Poor guy was up, which meant that I was up, every hour until 7:30. Fortunately it seems to have subsided, at least enough to where he's able to hold down food again. But needless to say, the three of us are exhausted. So, if anyone has any good remedies (or tranquilizers) that they would like to share, any input is appreciated.
